• Uni Of Padua Moving To Venice!
The president of Veneto, Luca Zaia, just signed a big agreement that’s going to change things up for medical students at Padua University
• Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, the Medicine and Surgery course will be held at the Santi Giovanni and Paolo Hospital in Venice. This is a pretty significant move, and it’s likely to have a big impact on the university and the students who attend it. The course will still have 100 students in the first year, but it’s expected to grow to 600 students by 2030, with 75% of those students coming from the EU or living in Italy, and 25% coming from outside the EU
• It’s an exciting development, and it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.– No need to worry! If you’re already studying at Padua University, you won’t have to move to Venice. The agreement only applies to new students starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, so your studies will continue as usual in Padua. Nothing will change for you!
